Description

The remote host has a version of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise for Linux (VSEL) installed that is prior or equal to 2.0.3. It is, therefore, affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability which allows a malicious attacker the ability to delete files they do not have access to.

Solution

Upgrade to VSEL 2.0.3 Security Hotfix 2635000 or VSEL 1.9.2 Security Hotfix 2637000
