Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2020:1349 advisory.

- telnet-server: no bounds checks in nextitem() function allows to remotely execute arbitrary code (CVE-2020-10188)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected krb5-appl packages.
