Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2020:1054 advisory.

- mailman: Cross-site scripting vulnerability allows malicious listowners to inject scripts into listinfo pages (CVE-2018-0618)

- mailman: Mishandled URLs in Utils.py:GetPathPieces() allows attackers to display arbitrary text on trusted sites (CVE-2018-13796)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected mailman package.
