The remote web server hosts a web application that is affected by a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the instance of Atlassian JIRA hosted on the remote web server is prior to 7.13.6, or 8.x prior to 8.4.0. It is, therefore, affected by a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The vulnerability exists in the Optimization plugin due to improper validation of user-supplied input before returning it to users. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, via the name of a custom field, to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session.

Upgrade to Atlassian JIRA version 7.13.6 / 8.4.0
