Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

Joe Vennix discovered that Sudo incorrectly handled certain user IDs.
An attacker could potentially exploit this to execute arbitrary commands as the root user.

Solution

Update the affected sudo and / or sudo-ldap packages.
