Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

Multiple security issues were found in the rdesktop RDP client, which could result in denial of service and the execution of arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade the rdesktop packages.

For the stable distribution (stretch), this problem has been fixed in version 1.8.6-2~deb9u1.
