Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the version of the samba packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerability :

 - A flaw was found in the way samba allowed the use of weak NTLMv1 authentication even when NTLMv1 was explicitly disabled. A man-in-the-middle attacker could use this flaw to read the credential and other details passed between the samba server and client.(CVE-2018-1139)

Solution

Update the affected samba package.
