An application installed on the remote Windows host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability

Description

The version of ImageMagick installed on the remote Windows host is 7.x prior to 7.0.7-28. It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service vulnerability in the formatIPTCfrom Buffer function due to failure to handle exceptional conditions. An unauthenticated, local attacker can exploit this to read beyond the end of the buffer or to cause the application to stop responding.

Solution

Upgrade to ImageMagick version 7.0.7-28 or later. Note that you may also need to manually uninstall the vulnerable version from the system.
