Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the version of the kernel packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerability :

 - An information leak was discovered in the Linux kernel in cdrom_ioctl_drive_status() function in drivers/cdrom/cdrom.c that could be used by local attackers to read kernel memory at certain location.i1/4^CVE-2018-16658i1/4%0

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
