Description

The BIG-IP AAM wamd process used in the processing of images and PDFs fails to drop group permissions when executing helper scripts.
(CVE-2019-6601)

This issue does not have a direct exploit, but may be used in unknown ways when targeting the BIG-IP AAM module.

Solution

Upgrade to one of the non-vulnerable versions listed in the F5 Solution K25359902.
