Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the version of the openssl packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerability :

- OpenSSL RSA key generation was found to be vulnerable to cache side-channel attacks. An attacker with sufficient access to mount cache timing attacks during the RSA key generation process could recover parts of the private key.i1/4^CVE-2018-0737i1/4%0

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected openssl package.
