high Nessus Plugin ID 110097
New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

A virtualization application installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

The version of VMware Fusion installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is 10.x prior to 10.1.2. It is, therefore, missing a security update that fixes multiple flaws that allow local privilege escalation and multiple denial of service attacks.

Upgrade to VMware Fusion version 10.1.2 or later.
