Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 66.0.3359.170. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the 2018_05_stable-channel-update-for-desktop advisory.

 - Type confusion in WebAssembly in Google Chrome prior to 66.0.3359.139 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (CVE-2018-6122)

 - An integer overflow that could lead to an attacker-controlled heap out-of-bounds write in PDFium in Google Chrome prior to 66.0.3359.170 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted PDF file. (CVE-2018-6120)

 - Insufficient validation of input in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 66.0.3359.170 allowed a remote attacker to perform privilege escalation via a crafted HTML page. (CVE-2018-6121)

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 66.0.3359.170 or later.
