Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description

Meh Chang discovered that Exim incorrectly handled memory in certain
decoding operations. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause
Exim to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute
arbitrary code.

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected exim4-daemon-heavy and / or exim4-daemon-light
packages.
