New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.

Synopsis
The Internet Explorer installation on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.
Description
The Internet Explorer installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities :
- A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Internet Explorer improperly accesses objects in memory.
The vulnerability could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user. (CVE-2017-0202)
- An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when Internet Explorer does not properly enforce cross-domain policies, which could allow an attacker to access information from one domain and inject it into another domain. (CVE-2017-0210)
- A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way that the scripting engine handles objects in memory in Internet Explorer. The vulnerability could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user.
(CVE-2017-0201)
Solution
Microsoft has released security updates for the affected versions of Internet Explorer.
