New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.
VPR Score: 3.6
SynopsisAn enterprise service bus application installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.
DescriptionThe version of IBM Integration Bus (formerly known as IBM WebSphere Message Broker) installed on the remote host is 8.x prior to 184.108.40.206, 9.x prior to 220.127.116.11, or 10.x prior to 10.0.0.8. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities :
- A denial of service vulnerability exists due to the use of an unquoted search path that allows a local attacker with specialized access to prevent the message broker from starting. (CVE-2017-1144)
- An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the service trace component due to logging passwords in plaintext. A local attacker can exploit this to disclose web user passwords. (CVE-2017-1207)
SolutionUpgrade to IBM Integration Bus version 18.104.22.168 / 22.214.171.124 / 10.0.0.8 or later.
