Improper handling of highly compressed data (data amplification) in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.

There are packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities referenced in the following CVEs:

  - Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. (CVE-2026-62871,
    CVE-2026-70354)

  - Origin validation error in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
    (CVE-2026-58649)

  - Integer overflow or wraparound in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
    (CVE-2026-62886)

  - Integer overflow or wraparound in .NET Framework allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
    (CVE-2026-62897)

There are packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability referenced in the following CVE:

  - Improper handling of highly compressed data (data amplification) in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized
    attacker to deny service over a network. (CVE-2026-69304)

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.

The Microsoft Visual Studio Products are missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - Heap-based buffer overflow in .NET and Visual Studio allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges     over a network. (CVE-2026-69439)

  - Heap-based buffer overflow in Visual Studio allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a     network. (CVE-2026-69522, CVE-2026-71328)

  - External control of file name or path in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a     network. (CVE-2026-69805)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
