CVE-2026-47156

critical

Description

The vulnerability exists due to flawed login logic in the SOAP API's mci_check_login() function. The code improperly evaluates client-supplied data by validating a user's own session cookie string against an entirely separate target username provided in the SOAP request. This logic error allows an attacker to supply their own valid cookie_string along with a target username (such as administrator) to gain complete unauthenticated access and escalate privileges.
