Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.

The version of Microsoft Office for Mac installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the july-15-2025 advisory.

  - Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code     locally. (CVE-2025-49705)

  - Use after free in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can     exploit this to bypass authentication and execute     unauthorized arbitrary commands. The Microsoft Office Products are missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:
