The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. `maxBodyLebgth` was not used when receiving Message objects. Attackers could send a very large Message causing a memory overflow and triggering an OOM Error. Users of RabbitMQ may suffer from DoS attacks from RabbitMQ Java client which will ultimately exhaust the memory of the consumer. This vulnerability was patched in version 5.18.0.

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

The version of Siemens SINEC NMS installed on the remote host is prior to 2.0.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SSA-943925 advisory.

  - coreruleset (aka OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set) through 3.3.4 does not detect multiple Content-Type     request headers on some platforms. This might allow attackers to bypass a WAF with a crafted payload,     aka Content-Type confusion between the WAF and the backend application. This occurs when the web     application relies on only the last Content-Type header. Other platforms may reject the additional     Content-Type header or merge conflicting headers, leading to detection as a malformed header.

  - Some mod_proxy configurations on Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.55 allow a HTTP Request     Smuggling attack. Configurations are affected when mod_proxy is enabled along with some form of     RewriteRule or ProxyPassMatch in which a non-specific pattern matches some portion of the user-supplied     request-target (URL) data and is then re-inserted into the proxied request-target using variable     substitution. For example, something like: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/here/(.*)     http://example.com:8080/elsewhere?$1; [P] ProxyPassReverse /here/ http://example.com:8080/ Request     splitting/smuggling could result in bypass of access controls in the proxy server, proxying unintended     URLs to existing origin servers, and cache poisoning. Users are recommended to update to at least version     2.4.56 of Apache HTTP Server. (CVE-2023-25690)

  - The use of `Module._load()` can bypass the policy mechanism and require modules outside of the policy.json     definition for a given module. This vulnerability affects all users using the experimental policy     mechanism in all active release lines: 16.x, 18.x and, 20.x. Please note that at the time this CVE was     issued, the policy is an experimental feature of Node.js. (CVE-2023-32002)
