Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands.

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing a security update.
It is, therefore, affected by the following vulnerabilities:

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can     exploit this to bypass authentication and execute     unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-24473, CVE-2022-26901)

The Microsoft Office Products are missing security updates.
It is, therefore, affected by the following vulnerability:

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can     exploit this to bypass authentication and execute     unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-24473, CVE-2022-26901)

The Microsoft Office product installed on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by two remote code execution vulnerabilities in Excel.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016 installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - A session spoofing vulnerability exists. An attacker can     exploit this to perform actions with the privileges of     another user. (CVE-2022-24472)

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can     exploit this to bypass authentication and execute     unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-26901)

The Microsoft SharePoint Server Subscription Edition installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- A session spoofing vulnerability exists. An attacker can exploit this to perform actions with the privileges of another user. (CVE-2022-24472)

- A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-26901)

The Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- A session spoofing vulnerability exists. An attacker can exploit this to perform actions with the privileges of another user. (CVE-2022-24472)

- A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-26901)
