Remote Desktop Client Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

The Windows Remote Desktop client for Windows installed on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - An information disclosure vulnerability. An attacker can   exploit this to disclose potentially sensitive   information. (CVE-2022-22015, CVE-2022-26940)

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can   exploit this to bypass authentication and execute   unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2022-22017)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The remote Windows host is missing security update 5013943. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities

  - Windows LDAP Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2022-22012, CVE-2022-22013, CVE-2022-22014,     CVE-2022-29128, CVE-2022-29129, CVE-2022-29130, CVE-2022-29131, CVE-2022-29137, CVE-2022-29139,     CVE-2022-29141)

  - Windows Kernel Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability (CVE-2022-29133)

  - Windows Graphics Component Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2022-26927)

  - Windows Graphics Component Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2022-26927)
