Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities :

  - Microsoft Office Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2021-28449)

  - Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2021-28451, CVE-2021-28454, CVE-2021-28456)   Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The Microsoft Office product installed on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by remote code execution vulnerabilities in Word and Excel as well as an information disclosure in Excel.

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - A remote code execution vulnerability exists. An unauthenticated, local attacker can exploit this to bypass     authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2021-28451, CVE-2021-28453, CVE-2021-28454)

  - A information disclosure vulnerability exists. An unauthenticated, local attacker can exploit this to disclose     potentially sensitive information. (CVE-2021-28456)
