The calculated severity for CVEs has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. CVEs that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.
The image decoder in WebKit before r52833, as used in Google Chrome before 184.108.40.206, does not properly handle a failure of memory allocation, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the Chrome sandbox via a malformed GIF file that specifies a large size.
