This script is Copyright (C) 2009-2016 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote Gentoo host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-200903-14
(BIND: Incorrect signature verification)

BIND does not properly check the return value from the OpenSSL
functions to verify DSA (CVE-2009-0025) and RSA (CVE-2009-0265)
certificates.

Impact :

A remote attacker could bypass validation of the certificate chain to
spoof DNSSEC-authenticated records.

Workaround :

There is no known workaround at this time.

Risk factor :

Medium / CVSS Base Score : 6.8
