Synopsis

The remote Windows host has web portal software installed that is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

The version of WebSphere Portal on the remote host is affected by a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the tagging system. An attacker can craft a request that executes arbitrary script code in a user's browser.

Solution

IBM has published Interim Fix PM96047. This fix is a part of 7.0.0.2 CF25 (PM96258) and 8.0.0.1 CF08 (PM94847). Refer to IBM's advisory for more information.
