Atlassian Crucible Server < 4.0.0 Multiple Vulnerabilities

The remote Crucible server is affected by multiple attack vectors.

Versions of Crucible prior to 4.0.0 are affected by multiple vulnerabilities :

- A flaw exists in the password reset form that is triggered as separate error messages are returned if a user does not exist. This may allow a remote attacker to enumerate usernames. (osvdb 132847) - A flaw exists that allows a XSS attack. This flaw exists because the program does not validate input to profile settings before returning it to users. This may allow a remote attacker to create a specially crafted request that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session within the trust relationship between their browser and the server. (OSVDB 134396) - A flaw exists that is triggered when handling the 'Groups to Synchronise' membership filter in certain unspecified situations. This may allow a remote attacker to bypass authentication mechanisms. (OSVDB 135144)

Upgrade to Crucible version 4.0.0 or later.
