Synopsis

Description

Versions of Mozilla Thunderbird prior to 2.0.0.8 suffer from a number of flaws that could lead to an attacker corrupting memory and possibly executing arbitrary code. An attacker exploiting this flaw would need to convince a Thunderbird user to open an HTML email.

Solution

Upgrade to Thunderbird 2.0.0.8 or higher.
