The remote host is running a version of macOS / Mac OS X that is 27.x prior to the full release of 27.0. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - A validation issue existed in the entitlement verification. This issue was addressed with improved validation of the process entitlement. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. A malicious app may be able to break out of its sandbox. (CVE-2026-65381)

  - An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.7.9, macOS Sonoma 14.8.9, macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An attacker on the network may be able to authenticate to Screen Sharing without valid credentials. (CVE-2026-65400)

  - An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, watchOS 27. A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected app termination or arbitrary code execution. (CVE-2026-65414)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the operating system's self-reported version number.

The remote host is running a version of macOS / Mac OS X that is 26.x prior to 26.6.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability:

The remote host is running a version of macOS / Mac OS X that is 14.x prior to 14.8.9. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability:

  - An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management. (CVE-2026-65400)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the operating system's self-reported version number.

The remote host is running a version of macOS / Mac OS X that is 15.x prior to 15.7.9. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability:

  - An attacker on the network may be able to authenticate to Screen Sharing without valid credentials (CVE-2026-65400)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the operating system's self-reported version number.

The remote host is running a version of macOS / Mac OS X that is 26.x prior to 26.7.

  - In FreeBSD 11.3-PRERELEASE before r345378, 12.0-STABLE before r345377, 11.2-RELEASE before 11.2-RELEASE-p10, and 12.0-RELEASE before 12.0-RELEASE-p4, a bug in pf does not check if the outer ICMP or ICMP6 packet has the same destination IP as the source IP of the inner protocol packet allowing a maliciously crafted ICMP/ICMP6 packet could bypass the packet filter rules and be passed to a host that would otherwise be unavailable. (CVE-2019-5598)

  - A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in Samba within the GSSAPI unwrap_des() and unwrap_des3() routines of Heimdal. The DES and Triple-DES decryption routines in the Heimdal GSSAPI library allow a length-limited write buffer overflow on malloc() allocated memory when presented with a maliciously small packet. This flaw allows a remote user to send specially crafted malicious data to the application, possibly resulting in a denial of service (DoS) attack. (CVE-2022-3437)

  - This issue was addressed with additional entitlement checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2. An app may be able to access sensitive user data. (CVE-2026-112446)

  - An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, visionOS 27. An app may be able to use the Sign In With Apple authentication flow to access the user's Apple Account. (CVE-2026-20683)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the operating system's self-reported version number.
