"ADS Read Device Information command has been requested and the major, minor, and build versions has been received. ADS is a transport layer within the TwinCAT system developed for data exchange between different software modules. The protocol has an AMS header and enables communication with other tools from any point within TwinCAT and speaks to other PCs and devices."
