Synopsis

A remotely exploitable Improper Input Validation vulnerability has been identified in SIPROTEC 5 &lt; V7.9 and DIGSI 5 &lt; V7.9.

Description

A remote attacker could use specially crafted packets sent to Port 443/TCP to upload, download, or delete files in certain parts of the file system. Other specially crafted packets sent to Port 443/TCP could cause a denial-of-service condition.

Solution

Perform vendor recommended mitigations and apply available vendor upgrades.
