Synopsis

The remote host is vulnerable to a remote format string flaw.

Description

The remote host is using Skype, a peer to peer chat and VoIP software. The remote version of this software contains a format string flaw. An attacker exploiting this flaw would need to be able to convince a user to open a malicious URI that was handled by the Skype software. Successful exploitation would result in the attacker executing arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade to version 1.5.0.80 or higher.
