Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

It was discovered that the TLS server in Erlang is vulnerable to an adaptive chosen ciphertext attack against RSA keys.

Solution

Upgrade the erlang packages.

For the oldstable distribution (jessie), this problem has been fixed in version 1:17.3-dfsg-4+deb8u2.

For the stable distribution (stretch), this problem has been fixed in version 1:19.2.1+dfsg-2+deb9u1.
