Synopsis :

The remote EulerOS host is missing multiple security updates.

Description :

According to the versions of the poppler packages installed, the
EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following
vulnerabilities :

- A stack-based buffer overflow was found in the poppler
library. An attacker could create a malicious PDF file
that would cause applications that use poppler (such as
Evince) to crash, or potentially execute arbitrary code
when opened. (CVE-2017-9775)

- An integer overflow leading to heap-based buffer
overflow was found in the poppler library. An attacker
could create a malicious PDF file that would cause
applications that use poppler (such as Evince) to
crash, or potentially execute arbitrary code when
opened. (CVE-2017-9776)

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding
description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable
has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
