Description

There are packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability referenced in the following CVE:

 - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ethtool: module: call
 ethnl_ops_complete() on module flash errors When validate() fails we are skipping over
 ethnl_ops_complete() even tho we already called ethnl_ops_begin(). (CVE-2026-63998)

Solution

Update the sys-kernel/cchost-kernel-6_12 library and its related packages to version 19862.0.0 or later.
