Description

There are packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability referenced in the following CVE:

 - GNU objdump 2.43 is vulnerable to Buffer Overflow in the BFD (Binary File Descriptor) library's handling
 of tekhex format files. (CVE-2024-53589)

Solution

Update the binutils library and its related packages to version 2.44 or later.
