Description

There are packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability referenced in the following CVE:

 - Two case-insensitive comparisons on request-derived usernames outside the main authorization path in
 CUPS's scheduler (printer ACL validation and private-attribute filtering) could allow bypass of username-
 based access controls in certain configurations. (CVE-2026-87876)

Solution

Update the cups library and its related packages to version 2.4.18-1+e2 or later.
