| CVE-2026-46252 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: core: fix locking in regulator_resolve_supply() error path If late enabling of a supply regulator fails in regulator_resolve_supply(), the code currently triggers a lockdep warning: WARNING: drivers/regulator/core.c:2649 at _regulator_put+0x80/0xa0, CPU#6: kworker/u32:4/596 ... Call trace: _regulator_put+0x80/0xa0 (P) regulator_resolve_supply+0x7cc/0xbe0 regulator_register_resolve_supply+0x28/0xb8 as the regulator_list_mutex must be held when calling _regulator_put(). To solve this, simply switch to using regulator_put(). While at it, we should also make sure that no concurrent access happens to our rdev while we clear out the supply pointer. Add appropriate locking to ensure that. While the code in question will be removed altogether in a follow-up commit, I believe it is still beneficial to have this corrected before removal for future reference. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-46140 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtk: validate WMT event SKB length before struct access btmtk_usb_hci_wmt_sync() casts the WMT event response SKB data to struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt (7 bytes) and struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt_funcc (9 bytes) without first checking that the SKB contains enough data. A short firmware response causes out-of-bounds reads from SKB tailroom. Use skb_pull_data() to validate and advance past the base WMT event header. For the FUNC_CTRL case, pull the additional status field bytes before accessing them. | high | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-46135 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-tcp: fix race between ICReq handling and queue teardown nvmet_tcp_handle_icreq() updates queue->state after sending an Initialization Connection Response (ICResp), but it does so without serializing against target-side queue teardown. If an NVMe/TCP host sends an Initialization Connection Request (ICReq) and immediately closes the connection, target-side teardown may start in softirq context before io_work drains the already buffered ICReq. In that case, nvmet_tcp_schedule_release_queue() sets queue->state to NVMET_TCP_Q_DISCONNECTING and drops the queue reference under state_lock. If io_work later processes that ICReq, nvmet_tcp_handle_icreq() can still overwrite the state back to NVMET_TCP_Q_LIVE. That defeats the DISCONNECTING-state guard in nvmet_tcp_schedule_release_queue() and allows a later socket state change to re-enter teardown and issue a second kref_put() on an already released queue. The ICResp send failure path has the same problem. If teardown has already moved the queue to DISCONNECTING, a send error can still overwrite the state with NVMET_TCP_Q_FAILED, again reopening the window for a second teardown path to drop the queue reference. Fix this by serializing both post-send state transitions with state_lock and bailing out if teardown has already started. Use -ESHUTDOWN as an internal sentinel for that bail-out path rather than propagating it as a transport error like -ECONNRESET. Keep nvmet_tcp_socket_error() setting rcv_state to NVMET_TCP_RECV_ERR before honoring that sentinel so receive-side parsing stays quiesced until the existing release path completes. | critical | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-43355 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: bh1780: fix PM runtime leak on error path Move pm_runtime_put_autosuspend() before the error check to ensure the PM runtime reference count is always decremented after pm_runtime_get_sync(), regardless of whether the read operation succeeds or fails. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-43219 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: Fix potential unregister of netdev that has not been registered yet If an error occurs during register_netdev() for the first MAC in cpsw_register_ports(), even though cpsw->slaves[0].ndev is set to NULL, cpsw->slaves[1].ndev would remain unchanged. This could later cause cpsw_unregister_ports() to attempt unregistering the second MAC. To address this, add a check for ndev->reg_state before calling unregister_netdev(). With this change, setting cpsw->slaves[i].ndev to NULL becomes unnecessary and can be removed accordingly. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-43216 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: Drop the lock in skb_may_tx_timestamp() skb_may_tx_timestamp() may acquire sock::sk_callback_lock. The lock must not be taken in IRQ context, only softirq is okay. A few drivers receive the timestamp via a dedicated interrupt and complete the TX timestamp from that handler. This will lead to a deadlock if the lock is already write-locked on the same CPU. Taking the lock can be avoided. The socket (pointed by the skb) will remain valid until the skb is released. The ->sk_socket and ->file member will be set to NULL once the user closes the socket which may happen before the timestamp arrives. If we happen to observe the pointer while the socket is closing but before the pointer is set to NULL then we may use it because both pointer (and the file's cred member) are RCU freed. Drop the lock. Use READ_ONCE() to obtain the individual pointer. Add a matching WRITE_ONCE() where the pointer are cleared. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-43010 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject sleepable kprobe_multi programs at attach time kprobe.multi programs run in atomic/RCU context and cannot sleep. However, bpf_kprobe_multi_link_attach() did not validate whether the program being attached had the sleepable flag set, allowing sleepable helpers such as bpf_copy_from_user() to be invoked from a non-sleepable context. This causes a "sleeping function called from invalid context" splat: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at ./include/linux/uaccess.h:169 in_atomic(): 1, irqs_disabled(): 0, non_block: 0, pid: 1787, name: sudo preempt_count: 1, expected: 0 RCU nest depth: 2, expected: 0 Fix this by rejecting sleepable programs early in bpf_kprobe_multi_link_attach(), before any further processing. | medium | 2026-07-04 |

| CVE-2026-31755 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: gadget: fix NULL pointer dereference in ep_queue When the gadget endpoint is disabled or not yet configured, the ep->desc pointer can be NULL. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference when __cdns3_gadget_ep_queue() is called, causing a kernel crash. This prevents potential crashes when ep_queue is called on endpoints that are not ready. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-31732 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: Fix resource leaks on errors in gpiochip_add_data_with_key() Since commit aab5c6f20023 ("gpio: set device type for GPIO chips"), `gdev->dev.release` is unset. As a result, the reference count to `gdev->dev` isn't dropped on the error handling paths. Drop the reference on errors. Also reorder the instructions to make the error handling simpler. Now gpiochip_add_data_with_key() roughly looks like: >>> Some memory allocation. Go to ERR ZONE 1 on errors. >>> device_initialize(). gpiodev_release() takes over the responsibility for freeing the resources of `gdev->dev`. The subsequent error handling paths shouldn't go through ERR ZONE 1 again which leads to double free. >>> Some initialization mainly on `gdev`. >>> The rest of initialization. Go to ERR ZONE 2 on errors. >>> Chip registration success and exit. >>> ERR ZONE 2. gpio_device_put() and exit. >>> ERR ZONE 1. | medium | 2026-07-04 |
| CVE-2026-31451 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: replace BUG_ON with proper error handling in ext4_read_inline_folio Replace BUG_ON() with proper error handling when inline data size exceeds PAGE_SIZE.
