IDDescriptionSeverityUpdated
CVE-2026-48710Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to version 1.0.1, the HTTP `Host` request header was not validated before being used to reconstruct `request.url`. Because the routing algorithm relies on the raw HTTP path while `request.url` is rebuilt from the `Host` header, a malformed header could make `request.url.path` differ from the path that was actually requested. Middleware and endpoints that apply security restrictions based on `request.url` (rather than the raw `scope` path) could therefore be bypassed. Users should upgrade to a version greater than or equal to version 1.0.1, which validates the `Host` header against the grammar of RFC 9112 §3.2 / RFC 3986 §3.2.2 when constructing `request.url` and falls back to `scope["server"]` for malformed values.

CVE-2026-64532In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound NTFS_DE view.data_off in UpdateRecordData{Root,Allocation} In do_action()'s UpdateRecordDataRoot (fslog.c:3489) and UpdateRecordDataAllocation (fslog.c:3697) cases, the memmove destination is `Add2Ptr(e, le16_to_cpu(e->view.data_off))`, where e->view.data_off comes from an on-disk NTFS_DE inside an INDEX_ROOT or INDEX_BUFFER. Neither case validates view.data_off + dlen against e->size; the existing check_if_index_root / check_if_alloc_index helpers walk the entry chain and validate the entry's offset, but not its internal view fields. The neighbouring read sites (e.g., fs/ntfs3/index.c when iterating view entries) check view.data_off + view.data_size <= e->size. Apply the same bound at the two memmove sites. Reproduced under UML+KASAN on mainline 8d90b09e6741 via pr_warn-only probe instrumentation: with view.data_off forced to 0xFFFC, the memmove writes 32 bytes past the end of the NTFS_DE. This is similar in shape to Pavitra Jha's 2026-05-02 patch "fs/ntfs3: prevent oob in case UpdateRecordDataRoot" (<[email protected]>) which proposes calling ntfs3_bad_de_range(); that helper does not exist in mainline. This patch uses inline checks.

CVE-2026-19387A heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in the GStreamer gst-plugins-bad adpcmdec element when decoding IMA/DVI ADPCM audio. Insufficient validation of the per-block sample count for multi-channel streams allows a crafted WAV file to cause writes beyond the allocated output buffer. This can lead to application crash, denial of service, memory corruption, or potentially arbitrary code execution when untrusted media is processed.

CVE-2026-3039BIND servers that are configured to use TKEY-based authentication via GSS-API tokens are vulnerable to excessive memory consumption when receiving and processing maliciously-constructed packets. Typically these servers will be found in Active Directory integrated DNS deployments and/or Kerberos-secured DNS environments. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.0.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1.

CVE-2026-5946Multiple flaws have been identified in `named` related to the handling of DNS messages whose CLASS is not Internet (`IN`) — for example, `CHAOS` or `HESIOD`, or DNS messages that specify meta-classes (`ANY` or `NONE`) in the question section. Specially crafted requests reaching the affected code paths — recursion, dynamic updates (`UPDATE`), zone change notifications (`NOTIFY`), or processing of `IN`-specific record types in non-`IN` data — can cause assertion failures in `named`. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1.

CVE-2026-35527Incus is an open source container and virtual machine manager. In versions prior to 7.0.0, the image import flow issues an outbound HEAD request to a user-supplied URL before validating the request against project restrictions such as restricted.images.servers. The imgPostURLInfo function constructs and sends a HEAD request directly from the attacker-supplied source URL to resolve image metadata, and this network interaction occurs before the flow reaches the point where the import would be rejected by policy. Although the actual image download is blocked by the project restriction, an authenticated user can coerce the daemon into making blind HEAD requests to arbitrary destinations. These requests include server metadata in custom headers (Incus-Server-Architectures, Incus-Server-Version), which discloses information about the host environment to the attacker-controlled endpoint. This blind SSRF primitive can be used to probe internal services, unroutable address space, or cloud metadata endpoints reachable from the host. This vulnerability pattern is similar to CVE-2026-24767. This issue has been fixed in version 7.0.0.

CVE-2026-76840RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0.

CVE-2026-97873In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, the raw JCA provider's legacy PBES1 (PKCS#5 scheme 1) and PKCS#12 PBE families ran their password-based key derivation with an iteration count taken from untrusted input without bounding it, so a small input could dictate an arbitrary amount of work before anything could be verified. The AlgorithmParameters implementations (PKCS12PBE and its object identifier aliases, and PBKDF1) accepted any count from an encoded PKCS12PBEParams or PBEParameter, narrowing a value beyond the int range with intValue(), and every Cipher, Mac and SecretKeyFactory in these families derived with whatever count it was given, including one decoded by another provider's AlgorithmParameters, as when javax.crypto.EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo.getKeySpec() decrypts a PKCS#12 PBE-protected private key with BC. Both the parameter parse and the derivations now reject a negative or over-limit count under the org.bouncycastle.pbe.max_iteration_count property (default 10,000,000) that already bounded PBKDF2 (CVE-2026-17508), and the parse rejects a count beyond the int range rather than narrowing it. This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.13.

CVE-2026-11770A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject LDAP search filters into the CleanAllRUV replication status-check extended operation. Because the handler performs the search against cn=config with elevated replication plugin privileges and returns a boolean match result, the attacker can extract sensitive server configuration metadata, including replication bind DNs and password storage scheme information.

CVE-2026-22858FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.20.1, global-buffer-overflow was observed in FreeRDP's Base64 decoding path. The root cause appears to be implementation-defined char signedness: on Arm/AArch64 builds, plain char is treated as unsigned, so the guard c <= 0 can be optimized into a simple c != 0 check. As a result, non-ASCII bytes (e.g., 0x80-0xFF) may bypass the intended range restriction and be used as an index into a global lookup table, causing out-of-bounds access. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.20.1.

CVE-2026-45416Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, SslClientHelloHandler.decode() reads the 24-bit TLS handshake length and, when the ClientHello does not fit in the first record, eagerly allocates `ctx.alloc().buffer(handshakeLength)` (line 161). The guard at line 140 is `handshakeLength > maxClientHelloLength && maxClientHelloLength != 0`, and the commonly-used SniHandler/AbstractSniHandler constructors (SniHandler(Mapping), SniHandler(AsyncMapping), AbstractSniHandler()) pass maxClientHelloLength=0 and handshakeTimeoutMillis=0, so the length guard is disabled and no timeout is scheduled. A 16 MiB request exceeds the default pooled chunk size and becomes a huge/unpooled allocation performed immediately. The buffer is retained in the handler until the channel closes. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.

CVE-2026-44390NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.0 has a vulnerability when handling replies with very large RRsets that Unbound needs to perform name compression for. Malicious upstream responses with very large RRsets with records that don't share a suffix above the root can cause Unbound to spend a considerable time applying name compression to downstream replies. This can lead to degraded performance and eventually denial of service in well orchestrated attacks. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by querying Unbound for the specially crafted contents of a malicious zone with very large RRsets. Before Unbound replies to the query it will try to apply name compression which was an unbounded operation that could lock the CPU until the whole packet was complete. A compression limit was introduced in 1.21.1 for this but it didn't account for the case where records would not share any suffix above the root. That causes Unbound to go in a different code path because of the compression tree lookup failure and eventually not increment the compression counter for those operations. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix that increments the compression counter regardless of the compression tree lookup. This is a complement fix to CVE-2024-8508.

CVE-2026-17527In containerized-data-importer (CDI), the aggregated cdi.kubevirt.io:view ClusterRole, intended to provide read-only access to CDI resources, includes a rule granting create on the datavolumes/source subresource. CDI's DataVolume clone authorization accepts this permission as sufficient to authorize cloning the contents of any PVC the caller can name, without requiring write access to the source namespace. A user or service account bound to the view role, commonly granted cluster-wide via ClusterRoleBinding, who also has ordinary write access (edit/admin) to any single namespace, can use this to exfiltrate the contents of any PVC in the cluster into a namespace they control, bypassing namespace isolation and the read-only guarantee of the view role.

CVE-2026-74860A flaw was found in libxml2 with Python bindings enabled. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted XML document containing a Document Type Definition (DTD) with enumerated attribute values. This triggers a double-free error in the SAX attributeDecl callback handler, where a string is freed twice. This flaw can lead to a denial of service (DoS) due to a reproducible crash in Python applications using the libxml2 SAX bindings.

CVE-2026-15709A flaw was found in libsoup's WebSocket implementation when using the permessage-deflate extension. The extension's decompression loop (inflate()) processes data in chunks without enforcing an upper boundary limit on the output buffer size. While libsoup limits the incoming compressed frame size via max_incoming_payload_size, it fails to track or limit memory allocation during decompression. A separate check for decompressed size (max_total_message_size) exists but executes only after inflation is complete, and it is entirely disabled by default for client connections. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a small, highly compressed payload (a decompression bomb), causing unbounded memory allocation that triggers an Out-of-Memory (OOM) crash and a Denial of Service (DoS).
high
CVE-2026-15711A vulnerability was found in libsoup's WebSocket frame parsing implementation. The library fails to validate length rules specified in RFC 6455 §5.5, which mandates that all WebSocket control frames (e.g., PING, PONG, CLOSE) contain a payload of 125 bytes or less. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a non-compliant, oversized control frame. Because the parser handles this protocol violation improperly instead of throwing an immediate connection termination error, it triggers a internal processing crash, resulting in a remote denial of service (DoS) for applications utilizing libsoup WebSockets.

CVE-2026-27172The ConsulRegistry in the camel-consul component (class org.apache.camel.component.consul.ConsulRegistry and its inner ConsulRegistryUtils.deserialize method) read Java-serialized values from the Consul KV store and passed them to ObjectInputStream.readObject() without configuring an ObjectInputFilter. An attacker who can write to the Consul KV store backing a Camel ConsulRegistry instance could inject a malicious serialized Java object that is deserialized the next time Camel performs a lookup against that registry, leading to arbitrary code execution in the Camel process. The issue mirrors the class of vulnerability already addressed for other Camel components in CVE-2024-22369, CVE-2024-23114 and CVE-2026-25747, and was overlooked during the original remediation of those CVEs. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.6, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.19.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.6. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.1.

CVE-2026-82311Apache Airflow FAB provider: resetting a user's password does not delete that user's existing database-backed sessions, despite documented behaviour that it does. The cleanup compares the string identifier Flask-Login stores in the session against the user's integer database identifier, so the comparison never matches and no session is removed. An attacker who already holds a copy of the victim's session cookie keeps access as that user after the password change, so the reset does not evict them. Affects deployments using the FAB auth manager with `[fab] session_backend=database`. The trigger is an administrator (or the user) running the supported password-reset command as a containment action after a session cookie has been compromised; the secure-cookie backend is out of scope, as it documents that it cannot centrally delete sessions. apache-airflow-providers-fab 3.9.0 also fixes CVE-2026-86462, a second, independent route to the same outcome via the Admin user-edit endpoint; a single upgrade closes both. Users of apache-airflow-providers-fab are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.0 or later, which compares the identifiers consistently.

CVE-2026-92395@fastify/proxy-addr is a Fastify plugin that determines a request's client address behind trusted reverse proxies, and it backs Fastify request.ip and request.ips. In versions 3.0.0 through 5.1.0, a trust subnet written in IPv4-mapped IPv6 notation with an IPv4-sized prefix, such as ::ffff:10.0.0.0/8 instead of the correct ::ffff:10.0.0.0/104, is accepted without error but trusts every IPv4 address on the internet rather than the block it names. Because the socket peer then becomes trusted at hop 0, any unauthenticated client can supply an arbitrary X-Forwarded-For header and control the address the application reads, which defeats IP-based access control, rate limiting, geolocation, and audit logging. The plugin inherited this defect from the upstream proxy-addr module (CVE-2026-90711). The issue is fixed in @fastify/proxy-addr 5.1.1, and users should upgrade to 5.1.1 or later. As a workaround, ensure any IPv4-mapped IPv6 trust subnet uses a prefix length of at least 97, or express the range in plain IPv4 notation.

CVE-2026-76805Nuclei is a vulnerability scanner built on a simple YAML-based DSL. From 3.0.0 until 3.10.0, the DAST/fuzz payload path in pkg/fuzz/parts.go can evaluate substituted runtime data more than once, creating a second evaluation pass that allows response content captured by an internal: true extractor in one protocol step to be reinterpreted as template syntax in a later fuzz step. This vulnerability is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-41645: the prior remediation made expressions.Evaluate() single-pass within one call but did not prevent DAST/fuzz callers from evaluating substituted output again. When -env-vars is enabled, a malicious scan target can return marker-shaped content that resolves against the template variable map and discloses scanner-host environment variables such as credentials, API keys, or tokens. The vulnerability requires a multi-step DAST or fuzz template, response data reused through an internal extractor, and explicit environment-variable expansion; users who do not enable -env-vars are not affected by the sensitive-information disclosure. This issue is fixed in version 3.10.0.
