Information
Level 1, Scorable
This privilege determines who can change the maximum memory that can be consumed by a process. This user right is defined in the Default
Domain Controller Group Policy object (GPO) and in the local security policy of workstations and servers.
SQL Server internally manages its own memory consumption. This privilege must be assigned to the account that the SQL Server services runs
under so that SQL Server is able to perform this memory management.
