Solution

Configure the policy value for

Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Event Log Service >> System >> 'Specify the maximum log file size (KB)' to 'Enabled' with a 'Maximum Log Size (KB)' of '32768' or greater
