Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

It was discovered that Dovecot incorrectly handled closing inactive
SSL/TLS connections. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause
Dovecot to stop responding to new connections, resulting in a denial
of service.

without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected dovecot-core, dovecot-imapd and / or dovecot-pop3d
packages.
