Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

Jared Mauch discovered that Bind incorrectly handled certain queries
for NSEC3-signed zones. A remote attacker could use this flaw with a
specially crafted query to cause Bind to stop responding, resulting in
a denial of service.

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected bind9 package.
