Ubuntu Security Notice (C) 2012-2016 Canonical, Inc. / NASL script (C) 2012-2016 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

David Black discovered that Software Properties incorrectly validated
server certificates when performing secure connections to download PPA

man-in-the-middle attack, this flaw could be exploited to install
altered package repository GPG keys.
