Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for seamonkey.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2011:1167 advisory.

- Mozilla: Miscellaneous memory safety hazards (CVE-2011-2982)

- Mozilla: Private data leakage using RegExp.input (CVE-2011-2983)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL seamonkey package based on the guidance in RHSA-2011:1167.
