NGC Active FTPServer 2002 Multiple Command Remote DoS

This script is Copyright (C) 2003-2014 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote FTP server is affected by a remote denial of service
vulnerability.

Description :

The remote host is running Active FTP server, a shareware
FTP server for Windows-based systems.

There is a flaw in the version of ActiveFTP which may allow an
attacker to crash this service remotely by sending an overly long
argument to various FTP commands (USER, CWD, and more). The attack can
only be performed without authentication through the USER command.

A successful exploit will result in a denial of service and may
potentially allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context
of the affected application.
