Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for procmail.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2017:3269 advisory.

- procmail: Heap-based buffer overflow in loadbuf function in formisc.c (CVE-2017-16844)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution
