Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for flash-plugin.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2017:3222 advisory.

- flash-plugin: multiple code execution issues fixed in APSB17-33 (CVE-2017-11213, CVE-2017-11215, CVE-2017-11225, CVE-2017-3112, CVE-2017-3114)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL flash-plugin package based on the guidance in RHSA-2017:3222.
