Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

It was discovered that pattern-based ACLs in the Mosquitto MQTT broker could be bypassed.

Solution

Upgrade the mosquitto packages.

For the stable distribution (jessie), this problem has been fixed in version 1.3.4-2+deb8u1.
