Synopsis

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is prior to 15.7.3. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - A vulnerability in app may be able to leak sensitive kernel state (CVE-2023-23500)

 - A vulnerability in app may be able to bypass Privacy preferences (CVE-2023-23503)

 - A vulnerability in app may be able to access information about a user’s contacts (CVE-2023-23505)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Apple iOS version 15.7.3 or later
